Blogging is a great and easy way to get more visitors to your site. 

The reason it works so well, and makes sense to do so is because Google loves NEW FRESH CONTENT.

So you want to blog often about your business.

Now I know some people are not good at writing, but, chances are that SOMEONE you know or one of your employees is good at it.  If not, you may want to consider hiring someone to write new content for you.

Basically, it's like this, giving your site new content is like giving your car a wax and wash in the eyes of a search engine.  If all you have on your site is old content it's like a bunch of dust and dirt has built up on your site and nothing new and fun is there to catch the attention of the search engines.  Really when you think about it, it's also as if nothing new is there for the users either.  The more that you can blast out in the form blog posts and new content, the more keywords and queries you will begin to show up for.

Now don't get me wrong you do not HAVE to publish new content all of the time in order to keep traffic buzzing into your website.  But it will never, ever, ever hurt you and it will always, always, always be good for your site and traffic and for getting some cuddly Google SERP lovin'.
As you can read in the meme above, keeping your content constantly updated contributes toward more targeted traffic, exposure and higher ROI. 

So think of it like this...let's say you have a business that sells "blue, red, green, yellow, and black widgets" and each "widget" does something special.  If you have only one page on your site about all the types of widgets, only one page can show up in the search engine for these terms.  Now think if you had a blog, where you could write about each "widget" specifically and what they offer and go into detail about them.  If you did this, it would offer value to each prospect who landed on your page, plus you would have a bigger "net" that would pull people into your traffic funnel and ultimately turn them into clients.  Hopefully by now you are beginning to understand why it's so important to blog and write fresh content.  Watch the quick video below to get some ideas about blogging for your business.
Another thing you can blog about is specials you may have...don't overthink blogging, it's easy.  Just write about things people can look out for or offer them "free tips" that can help them out with whatever your type of business is.  You should aim for at least 300 words on a blog post if possible and taking pictures and videos and posting them on the blog will enhance the user experience exponentially as well. An easy way to blog is to set a time frame of say, 20 minutes per day to write something, then by the end of the week you will have a full blown blog post to publish on your blog and then share on your Facebook page as well.  Easy peasy one two threesy.

Do you have to be a GENIUS to do social media marketing?
Social media is so easy a cave man could do it.  I'm going to give you some very simple ideas on how to do some very easy social media marketing for your own business.

The first thing that you can do, is get on Facebook and take pictures of your customers enjoying your product.  You can also incentivize this for them by telling them that they can get a discount if they will pose for a picture and or share your business on their own personal Facebook account.  When they do "share" your business on their Facebook, all of their friends then get an update that they have shared something.

The next thing that you can try doing, if you already have a lot of followers is doing a short term special and advertising it on your Facebook.  Now, your friends on Facebook can then share the message with their friends in order to take advantage of this limited time offer.

You can also easily share updates and coupons with your followers, friends and family on your Facebook.  Remember that since you are an expert in your niche, you can easily provide value to your target audience.

Talk about what makes your business unique on a blog, and then you can post that on your Facebook for people to read about.  Don't post a ton of content at one time.  Take time to "drip" out the content.  If you blast all your content out at one time, your audience will go into overwhelm...by dripping it you give the audience "dispensed learning" where they can easily digest what they have posted.

Lastly, just have some fun with Facebook.  As Jody said, if you already have videos, POST THEM ON YOUR FACEBOOK!!!!  Say hey to people if you have a social type business like a martial arts school or a club or restaurant.  You may be surprised at how many friends turn into customers, and how many customers turn into friends!

Getting traffic from Google is probably a lot easier than you think it is.  By sprinkling in some simple keywords, you may be able to get traffic that you were not getting before.  Some examples of keywords would be "seo greenville sc" if you had a search engine optimization blog such as this one, and you were trying to rank for "Greenville SC" area keywords.

Ok ok...I know you're not stupid...but it's just stupid to not have some type of video promoting your site. 

It doesn't even have to be a good video.  In fact, it  can be a really crappy video.  Do you want to know how high tech internet marketers and companies are making videos for their clients these days?

Well you have to have a massive budget and you have to buy something called A PHONE that has A CAMERA.

Next you will have to record a video on that phone and load it to YouTube.com.  I know that may sound tricky but most phones do this automatically with your videos.  The next thing you will need to do is do some minor optimization for your veidoeo and make sure you can spell words like "video" correctly.   : ]]]
